Transcending time and dimensions through vibrant seNsUal FORMs
Asia is a Polish-born (b.1984) abstract artist whose work explores concepts of time, light, and multidimensionality. Evolving from an early fascination with the abstract expression of the feminine form, her practice has developed into a vibrant language of geometric forms, symbols, and colours.
Her paintings are intuitive and sensual, often moving between structure and fluidity, the recognisable and the unknown. Layers of colour and form create shifting spaces that suggest movement, depth and a sense of time beyond the immediate image. Rather than illustrating a particular idea, the work invites the viewer to experience it—to linger, feel, and discover their own associations within the painting.
For Asia, art is a way of exploring what cannot always be expressed through words. Her work is rooted in an interest in perception, interconnectedness and the many dimensions of human experience, while remaining grounded in the physical language of contemporary abstraction: colour, composition, texture, rhythm and light.
Her wider practice in energy work and Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique informs her understanding of perception and human experience, but the paintings stand independently as works of art—open to interpretation and encountered through the senses.
Asia’s work is held in private collections across the UK, France, Germany and the US. Her exhibitions include M.A.D.S. Gallery, Milan (2021), Ania Schmit Gallery, Estaing, France (2024), and a number of private group exhibitions. She continues to develop her practice through new paintings and collaborative exhibitions.

Asia Bochenek is a young creative artist born in Poland. The strong relationship between body and spirit is fundamental to the creation of her art, which reflects the continuous and infinite flow of vital forces. Through her beautiful artworks, Asia aims to convey strong emotions in the viewer who must be able to grasp her true spiritual essence. Bright colours and instinctive brushstrokes, deliberately left raw, make her canvases unique and pure, true. Asia lets herself be guided by her instinct, by the energy that surrounds her and that hovers among human beings. She gathers everything positive the world has to offer, creates a close spiritual bond with her soul and tries to connect with the viewer.
The brushstrokes she lays on the canvas are not planned, they are free from any constraints and able to free themselves in space, creating shapes and drawing emotions. Asia transmits pure energy and enables the viewer to listen to her heart and soul. In the painting "She", the artist enhances the soft, curved forms of the female body. Against a background of broad green and blue brushstrokes, a female body is drawn in silhouette with contrasting colours such as red and purple. Touches of white colour create a pleasant play of light that gives dynamism to the work and creates three-dimensionality.
The woman's body is the bearer of universal symbols, representing the beginning of everything, the birth of the universe. A safe haven in which to shelter. The female body is disarmingly beautiful, balanced, soft in its lines and elegant. The brushstrokes are spontaneous, free from all constraints. The oil painting technique used is therefore perfect for expressing the artist's concept, which aims to emphasise the flow of emotions and life force that hovers between human beings and that each of us cultivates in our spiritual sphere. The marks on the canvas are not sharp, but soft and pleasantly blended together.
The female body is deliberately unfinished, barely visible in the background. It emerges dynamically, becoming the real protagonist of the scene. The energy it emanates is very strong, so much so that it leads the spectator to ask questions. The artwork expresses peace, tranquillity and balance and encourages meditation.
There is a clear reference to abstract and expressionist currents, which are revisited here in a modern key and mixed with the artist's emotional frequencies. The body loses its materiality, becomes ethereal, the bearer of values and symbols. It dematerialises and becomes one with the colours and the canvas. The contours are lost in the green, blending with the oil colours, releasing the true intrinsic energy of the subject. Besides being an artist, Asia is also a shamanic energy healer. This greatly influences the creative process.

All paintings are shipped in cardboard boxes from France (Aveyron, Occitane), except the artworks exceeding 100cm (Many Journeys) which will be reassembled and shipped in a shipping tube. The buyer is asked to assemble the artwork on their side, unless professional service is included in the total price.
The buyer covers the cost of shipping.
Artworks are not framed.
